Authorities have identified the 2 people killed in a weekend motorcycle crash in Helena

Authorities have released the names of two people who died in a motorcycle crash in Helena on Sunday.

Shelby County Coroner Lina Evans on Monday identified the victims as Sarah Madian Cooley, 21, of Vestavia Hills, and Ammar El-Jishi, 21, of Helena.

The crash happened Sunday on Highway 95 near Riva Ridge Road and Gobbler’s Nob in Helena.

No additional details have been released.
