How much does Jaden Daniels make?

Daniels was the second overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. He signed a fully guaranteed four-year, $37.75 million contract. The deal includes a $24.27 million signing bonus.

Here’s a detailed breakdown of Daniels’ salary and bonuses:

2024: Base salary $795,000 with additional prorated portion of signing bonus, bringing his total to $6.86 million.

2025: Base salary increases to $960,000 with $2.51 million in bonus. bringing his total to $8.58 million.

2026: Salary and bonuses bring his total to approximately $10.29 million.

2027: His final year sees him total growth to $12.01 millionwith a base salary of $1.19 million plus a prorated signing bonus and a $4.75 million roster bonus.

The Chiefs also have a fifth-year option, allowing them to extend his rookie contract through 2028 if they choose. This option is available standard for a first-round pick and offers flexibility, especially if Daniels performs well early on.

Given the upward trend in quarterback salaries, Daniels could be eligible for an extension after three seasons, potentially a lucrative long-term deal if he proves himself as a franchise quarterback. Tonight certainly won’t hurt his chances.
