Fans can’t believe their eyes at incredible footage of Terry Bradshaw’s NFL debut on Fox 31 years ago

Terry Bradshaw has hosted the NFL on Fox for 31 years.

The iconic broadcaster has become synonymous with Sunday, lighting up millions of living rooms every week throughout the season.

Fox NFL Sunday averages 4,415,000 viewers this year as it celebrates being the most-watched pregame show every year since its debut in 1994.

Unbelievable retrospective footage of young Bradshaw, who hosts the first ever broadcast, has appeared.

And while things might be a little more perfect when Fox previews Houston Texas and Los Angeles Chargers kicking off the 2025 postseason tonight, it’s truly amazing how little has changed.

It starts from the age of 45 Bradshaw looking dashing in a gray suit, bright tie and suspenders as he enters the studio from backstage, delivering a high-octane opening statement.

“I forgot how energetic TB used to be,” one fan commented on the viral clip.

Fourfold super bowl champion of Pittsburgh Steelers – now 76 years old – has already sported his signature haircut when he represented a “group of crack researchers”.

They all used computers that wouldn’t fit in the trunk of some cars, let alone a laptop bag.

James Brown, who has since returned to CBS, was the first co-host to be warmly introduced.

Howie Long next, a beaming Bradshaw described him as “an old rookie talent.”

His appearance in a stylish brown jacket, glasses and a bright tan caused a double perception of the audience.

“Howie Long hasn’t aged,” noted one.

“Howie looks the same,” added another.

Former Dallas Cowboys coach Jimmy Johnson, who like Bradshaw and Long, 65, can still be found on Fox coverage, is the latest entry.

It’s amazing that the cast has changed so little in over three decades, and it’s a testament to how well the Fox show is put together.

Love them or hate them – and there are plenty of them in both camps – these personalities have shaped football coverage for years.

Johnson is ten years older than Bradshaw, he is 86 years old.

“Terry, Howie and I started 31 years ago…it’s been an AWESOME RUN!” he wrote at the end of the regular season.

Fans are desperate for him to call it quits with his old friends next season.

“I’m looking forward to next years watching you guys,” said one.

“The only show I’ve watched since I was a kid!! Keep it up,” wrote another.

“31 years of power and a month away from the big easy game,” commented a third.

“Those were the best days to watch this show,” wrote a fourth, harkening back to the 1990s.
