Team Singham Again and Team Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 have finally reached a consensus on screen sharing. It looked like the makers of both the films would fight it out for a couple more days, but that’s not the case as the producers and distributors of both the films have come to an agreement. The deal varies between theater chains and theaters, but the national average screen-to-view ratio is 60:40 in favor of Singham again.

Here’s an insight into the screen share between Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 across cinema networks and theatres

PVRInox, the largest cinema chain, went ahead with a 60-40 split. Since PVR is also the distributor of Singham Again, it was clear that they would try to secure most of the screens and shows for their own film. Manufacturers Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 were normal with a 50-50 split as well as a 55-45 split in favor of Singham Again. The makers of Singham Again, on the other hand, were adamant about a 70-30 or 65-35 split in favor of their film. With Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 being a big release, there was no way to entertain this very one-sided ratio.

The ratio of Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 at Cinepolis is 55-45 in favor of the former. This can be seen as a win for T-Series and AA films. Ideally, everyone tries to emulate the market leader that is PVRInox. For the team of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 to manage to get 45 percent of the screens is quite impressive.

Other cinema chains like MovieMax, NY Cinemas, Rajhans, MovieTime and Miraj share a 60-40 ratio with Singham Again prevailing. The ratio of single screens nationally is 60-40 with some allocating all shows to Singham and some allocating all shows to Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 .

The India level screen split is 60:40 in favor of Singham

Overall Singham Again has around 60 percent screens and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has 40 percent screens, plus or minus. Both manufacturers and distributors should be satisfied with the final result. Now the audience decides for themselves which movie they prefer.
