Red River Harley Davidson is hosting a First Responder event

WICHITA FALLS, Texas (CAUSE) – First responders gathered at Red River Harley Davidson for an event focused on kids. They demonstrated first responder vehicles such as EVAC helicopters and ambulances.

They also hosted a cookout and gave out candy to children who wore their Halloween costumes to meet and interact with the EMS workers who serve us every day.

Deputy Melvin Joyner of the Wichita County Sheriff’s Office explained why this event is important to the community.

“Any time we can go visit with them, the kids and their parents, it’s just a good opportunity for us to meet and for us to meet them. It’s a lot of fun. Deputy Melvin Joyner said.

The event was a great way for the kids to have fun while also learning and interacting with the first responders who work every day to keep us all safe.
