A large brush fire in a forest preserve on Drew University’s Madison campus was brought under control by 1 p.m. Saturday, the district said, adding that all personnel had been evacuated from the scene.

The New Jersey State Forest Fire Service discovered a potential fire at the Greystone Lookout Tower in Danville shortly before 10 a.m. The Forest Service, along with the Madison Fire Department and Police Department, responded to contain the fire.
