Kalamazoo County deputies are investigating the woman’s death as a homicide

KALAMAZOO COUNTY, Mich. (WOOD) — One woman is dead and deputies are investigating her death as a homicide.

The Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office said they responded to a call near 100 N Main Street in the Village of Climax around 10 p.m. That’s when deputies found the woman and dog dead. The sheriff’s office said the suspect was taken into custody at the scene and is currently being held in the Kalamazoo County Jail.

Deputies said that there is no threat to the population. They are asking anyone with information to contact the Kalamazoo Sheriff’s Office or A silent observer.
