The View’s Sunny Hostin deletes X account in ‘patriotic’ act, says Elon Musk ‘ruined’ platform

Sunny host known for her bold and often controversial opinions. The co-host of The View, who is steadfast Donald Trump critic, deleted her account X. Appearing on the Behind the Table podcast earlier this week, the 56-year-old said it was the “most patriotic” thing she could do after Trump won the election.

“I think the most patriotic thing I could do right now is to just delete the account,” Hostin said. The outspoken Democrat continued his criticism Elon Musk, which owns the platform formerly known as Twitter. Hostin’s confession comes after The View co-host faced backlash for accusing “ignorant white women” and “Latinas” of Kamala Harris loss. “I think (Trump’s victory) had nothing to do with politics, I think it was a referendum on cultural discontent in this country,” she said on the daytime talk show.

“Why do you think uneducated white women vote against their reproductive health freedoms, and why do you think Hispanics voted for someone who is going to deport the majority of their community,” she continued, before correcting her statement to ” not White women with college degrees.”

After her controversial remark about white women, Hostin was trolled on X and netizens called her “bitter.” “Has she EVER been happy about anything but accusations? It’s not like a full dish,” one user was indignant. “Who is so ignorant as to call people ignorant just because we didn’t vote Democrat? This shows the level of her education,” said another.
