Strongsville man with crack cocaine flees police in car, then flees in Brook Park

BROOK PARK, Ohio. A 33-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman from Strongsville were arrested around 1 a.m. on Oct. 12 after police began a high-speed car chase.

Police stopped the couple on northbound Interstate 71 near Snow Road because their car windows were too tinted. Also, after checking the license plates, police learned the vehicle, a Chevrolet Cruze, was involved in a high-speed chase in July with Strongsville police.

Police placed a tire deflation device under the rear passenger tire of the Cruze as the vehicle fled from police. The driver, later identified as a Strongsville man, was initially mistaken.
