The tractor overturned on the I-77 exit – hassteveclarkresignedyet

BLUEFIELD, WV (WVVA) – No injuries have been reported and traffic is back to normal after a tractor-trailer overturned on the Interstate 77 exit.

After exiting the East River Mountain Tunnel on Friday, Nov. 15, a semi-trailer truck that was taking Exit 1 onto John Nash Boulevard overturned on its side. The Green Valley Glenwood Fire Department and the Mercer County Sheriff’s Department responded to the emergency.

Corporal Mason of the New Jersey Sheriff’s Department tells us it happened because the truck took exit 1 too quickly. He said there was only one person in the truck at the time and no one was injured.

The truck was picked up by Glen’s Towing later that day.
