Teens arrested for car and mail theft in Callaway County

COLUMBIA, MO (KMIZ)

Four teenagers were arrested in Callaway County this week on suspicion of stealing cars and mail in the Mokane area.

The crimes happened overnight Sunday into Monday, the Callaway County Sheriff’s Office said in a Facebook post. Two vehicles were stolen, one was recovered by the owner and the other was recovered at a business in Fulton.

Deputies detained four teenagers aged 14 and 15, the post says. They were released to the county juvenile facility on multiple charges.

The sheriff’s office says more charges may be filed later.
