Police are asking for help identifying a possible witness to a double shooting in June

Police are asking the public for help identifying a man they believe may have information about a double shooting in downtown Portland on June 29.

A man was caught on camera near Southwest 5th Avenue and Burnside Street when two men were shot about 1:10 a.m., Portland Police Bureau officials said in a statement.

Officers found both men — who police have not identified — at the scene with serious injuries, police said.

Police did not provide an update on the condition of either man, but said they have not made any arrests and are continuing to investigate.

Police are asking anyone with information about the shooting or the man pictured in the surveillance footage to email [email protected] , attention ECST and case number 24-160758.
