Kamala Harris in new controversy over edit of Trump clip mocking Beyoncé rally

But in Trump’s full comments, he criticized the vice president for coming to the rally with the star at a time when Israel was retaliating against Iran.

“Tonight, The Middle East is a tinkerer. He is ready to explode. People are being killed … and it’s happening right now,” Trump told the crowd in Traverse City.

He added: “No one is in charge. Joe Biden is sleeping and Kamala is at a dance party with Beyoncé.”

KamalaHQLies, an account on X that responds to KamalaHQ’s posts, accused the account of spreading “lies” that Trump attacked Beyonce.

KamalaHQ, which has 2.4 million followers on X and Instagram, has been accused several times of spreading misleadingly edited clips of Trump.

Misleading videos

CNN fact-checkers previously found eight examples of misleading videos shared by the account between mid-August and September.

The line was edited to suggest Mr Trump had confused what state he was in in an attempt to draw attention to Trump’s age, which had been Mr Biden’s biggest weakness on the campaign trail when he was the Democratic nominee.

One clip shows Trump wondering where he was during a rally in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.

Footage shows the Republican candidate standing behind a podium that says “write Pennsylvania,” turn to the right of the stadium and say, “Is that OK, North Carolina?” I don’t think so, really.”

Alongside the clip, which was released on August 17, KamalaHQ wrote: “He’s in Pennsylvania.” The Instagram account added: “Donald Trump is confused and confused.”

But footage from the rally showed Trump addressing several groups in the stands earlier in his speech, including one from North Carolina, which has attended hundreds of his rallies.

The latest accusations came later CBS was accused of bias for editing Ms. Harris’ 60 Minutes interview to make one of her answers “more succinct.”

In a preview that aired the day before the interview, Ms. Harris gave a mixed response to a question about Israel, but when an episode of “60 Minutes” aired the next day, her response to the same question was shorter.

CBS has denied Trump’s claims that the interview was deliberately edited to make it appear more competent, calling it “false.”

The network said at the time, “Part of her response on 60 Minutes was more succinct, allowing time for other topics in the broad 21-minute segment.”

The Telegraph has contacted the Harris campaign for comment.
