Eagles vs Bengals week 8 odds

Eagles vs Bengals week 8 odds

Prop Bet #1: Saquon Barkley over 80.5 yards

-115 on BetMGM

The Philadelphia Eagles offense has dealt with injuries this season, especially to pass catchers DeVonta Smith and AJ Brown. Although both players are back, the Birds are focused on their game. And why not, when there is Saquon Barkley in your field?

The former New York Giant ranks third in the NFL with 658 rushing yards. He averages a staggering 6.1 yards per carry and also has five touchdowns. The Eagles offense ranks second in the NFL thanks to Barkley.

In six games in 2024, the 27-year-old has five rushing yards. His lone outing came in Week 6 against the Cleveland Browns when he rushed for 47 yards. He had 176 yards on the ground last Sunday in the return game against his former team.

The Bengals’ defense ranks 21st in the league. Barkley is going to thrive here again and will play a big role in the results in Cincy. Given the way he performs, this bet is a no-brainer.

Bet #2: Ja’Marr Chase Anytime TD

-110 on BetMGM

Ja’Marr Chase is the WR1 for Joe Burrow and is proving his worth again this season with 39 receptions for 620 yards and six touchdowns. In other words, he had a TD in almost every appearance.

Although there were three games where he did not find the end zone for Cincinnati BengalsChase enjoyed two two-touchdown contests. The former LSU standout had five catches for 55 yards and a score last weekend against the Browns.

Maybe the odds look so good because Chase has never played with the Eagles in his career. This is the first meeting between the two teams since 2020, the year before he was drafted. Given how important Chase is to Burrow in this offense, I like this bet at -110.

Bet #3: AJ Brown over 77.5 yards per reception

-115 on BetMGM

Brown is one of the best running backs in the league and showed it in the season opener with five receptions for 119 yards and a TD. Unfortunately, he then suffered an injury that kept him out for three games, but upon his return, Brown hit the ground running.

In his first game back from injury against Cleveland, the WR had six catches for 116 yards. He then had five receptions for 89 yards last weekend in New York. He had 24 receiving yards in each contest.

The former Mississippi star may not always have a ton of receptions a game, but he’s averaging a career-high 20.2 yards per catch. The Bengals’ pass defense also ranks 21st in the league. I believe that Brown will handle the ball and comfortably go into the over.
