Clarification of Venom 3 post-credits scenes

Clarification of Venom 3 post-credits scenes

Venom: The Last Dance is finally here.

Last – and perhaps final? – In Venom, Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy) and Venom (also Hardy) are on the run from a government agency (run by Chiwetel Ejiofor) and a group of deranged aliens sent by a sinister space deity named Knull (Andy). Serkis). Knool is imprisoned in a desert planet and needs a symbiote and a host to break free – which means he needs Eddie and Venom to escape. So for them to keep Knull in place, either Venom or Eddie has to go.

But as we know, comic book movies tend to have a story that spills over into the main credits. Is there a post credits scene in Venom: The Last Dance? And what happens in sequences?

Major spoiler warning. Seriously. We open Christmas presents early. Watch the movie and come back later.

Does Venom: The Last Dance have a mid-credits scene?

It does.

Is there a post credits scene in Venom: The Last Dance?

It does.

Let’s talk about the middle credits first.

good.

Tell us about it!

This is a more meaningful scene. It involves the aforementioned villain Knull, who is now known as the King in Black (comic fans will know this from Marvel’s initiative). Although he still appears to be a prisoner, he rises from his throne. This is the point where you can see Knull much better.

Anything else about this scene?

It really seems like they’re setting up Knull to be the big bad for Sony’s constellation of Spider-Man-adjacent villains. This sequence has a lot of “early Thanos” energy.

What about the post-credits scene?

The post-credits sequence cuts back to the Mexican bartender (played by Ted Lasso breakout Cristo Fernandez) who was introduced at the end of the last Venom film, Let There Be Carnage. He returns in this film and is kidnapped by Strickland (Ejiofor) at the beginning of Venom: The Last Dance and forced to participate in a secret government program. That bit of sludge Eddie left on the bar? Strickland grabs that too.

Anyway, by the end of Venom: The Last Dance, virtually the entire secret government base has been destroyed, first by the alien monsters hunting Venom, and then by a giant explosion that Strickland set off, killing the creatures, the symbiotes (Venom included). ) and much more. (Eddie Brock manages to escape, as does a scientist played by Juno Temple.) In a post-credits scene, a bartender wanders through the smoldering ruins of a lab and a brief shot of a cockroach that survived the devastation (yes) approaching an exposed abomination that may have had symbiote remnants ? Is Venom-Bug a possible byproduct? Who knows!

Do the mid-credits and post-credits scenes point to other Venom adventures?

Definitely. There were many characters who bonded with the symbiote. Even if this is the last we see of Eddie Brock, we’re pretty sure Venom will be back.

“Venom: The Last Dance” is now in theaters.
