Firefighters were called to Much Wenlock public toilets after a cabin fire

Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service were called at 4.20pm on Sunday to reports of an incident in King Street.

Two fire brigades were dispatched from here Bridgnorth and Lots of Wenlocks Fire stations at the scene. The operational commissioner was also present.

The SRFS incident log reported that one toilet cubicle in the public toilets was on fire.

Crews used two breathing apparatuses, one water jet hose and a thermal imager to extinguish the fire and secure the scene.

The incident ended at 16.35.
