A pedestrian died after being hit by a car in Kentwood on Sunday

KENTWOOD, MI. Someone was killed in Kentwood Sunday night.

Kentwood police officers responded around 6:50 p.m. Sunday to the intersection of 32nd St. and Pheasant Ridge Dr. due to an accident involving a pedestrian and a car.

According to KPD, first responders tried to save the person, but they were pronounced dead at the scene.

KDP says the driver remained at the scene and was cooperating with the investigation. No other serious injuries were reported.
