Thinkware releases two new multifunctional video recorders

Thinkware released two new video recorders: U1000 Plus and F790. The high-end U1000 Plus complements the existing U1000. This is a front-facing dashcam equipped with a Sony The STARVIS IMX515 image sensor is capable of recording 4K video at 30 frames per second or 2K at 60 frames per second. The U1000 Plus also benefits from Thinkware’s Super Night Vision 3.0 low-light recording technology, which promises wide dynamic range with low image noise when recording in low-light conditions.

The U1000 Plus can work in conjunction with Thinkware Connected (UK) and Dashcam Link (US). The Thinkware Connected app lets you remotely view dashcam footage in real-time, notify you of collisions (whether your car is moving or parked, although the latter requires the camera to be hard-wired into your car’s electrical system), and the ability to send emergency notification and track your vehicle status and driving history. The app is free to use for 5 years and is available for iOS, Android, PC and Mac.
