St. Louis County Police Investigate South County Homicide After Weekend Shooting – St. Louis Newspapers Call

The St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a homicide that left one man dead in South County over the weekend.

According to a new release from the department, officers from Affton’s Southwest Precinct responded to a call around 7:25 p.m. Nov. 2 of a shooting in the 4200 block of Bayless Avenue. Law enforcement officers identified an adult man who received a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Another suspect, an adult man, is currently hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. The police said that they are not looking for other suspects.

The investigation is ongoing and more information will be released as it becomes available.
