Who won the NASCAR race today? Complete results, standings from the 2024 Xfinity 500 at Martinsville

The end of the Cup Series season is upon us, but before NASCAR’s top flight heads to the Valley of the Sun for its crescendo, the championship field must be set.

Eight of NASCAR’s biggest and brightest talents entered the Final 8 with dreams of greatness. Only four advanced, and the final two had to wait until Sunday’s race at Martinsville to get their ticket.

Who dominated The Paperclip in the Xfinity 500? Sporting News brings you the final results of the penultimate race of the Cup Series.

Who won the NASCAR race today?

Ryan Blaney took home the checkered flag on Sunday ahead of Chase Elliott for his third win of the year.

At the start of the final stint, Blaney looked a bit out of sorts, falling back after NASCAR controversially went from caution to green and then back to caution with Blaney and William Byron at the front of the pack. That decision moved Kyle Larson and Chase Elliott to the front, leaving Blaney and Byron in the back eight.

Blaney cleared the hurdle by passing Elliott in the final few laps to take the win at Martinsville — and give himself a shot at back-to-back Series Cup wins.
