Weekend shooting: 7 people, including teenagers, shot overnight in Philadelphia

Guns erupted on the streets of Philadelphia again, with six separate shootings leaving seven people injured in a matter of hours.

The first shooting happened in the 5800 block of Lindbergh Boulevard just after 11:30 p.m. Saturday. A 34-year-old man was hit once in the back.

About half an hour later, a double shooting in the 700 block of Montrose Street left a 15-year-old boy and a 17-year-old boy with gunshot wounds to the hand and finger.

OTHER HEADINGS:

Around the same time, a shooting in the 2400 block of West Oakdale Street led to a barricade at a nearby home.

A 47-year-old man is recovering from a gunshot wound, and police say another man has been taken into custody.

Three other men, aged 23, 32 and 43, were struck in three separate shootings before sunrise on Sunday morning. They are all reported to be in stable condition.

No arrests have been made in several of those shootings as police continue to investigate.
