Chicago shooting: Teenager among injured in Fulton River shooting near music studio at Milwaukee and Kinsey, police say

CHICAGO (WLS) — Two people were shot in downtown Chicago on Sunday, according to Chicago police.

The shooting happened near Milwaukee Avenue and Kinzie Street in the Fulton River area around 2:02 a.m.

The 18-year-old boy said he was in the car when he heard shots and felt pain.

Chicago police said he was shot multiple times. He was rushed to the hospital in serious condition.

The second victim, 17 years old, was hospitalized with a gunshot wound to the leg.

According to him, he was leaving the music studio when four criminals, two of whom were armed, approached and started shooting at him.

The 17-year-old victim is expected to be doing well.

No one is in custody. Third CPD detectives are investigating.
