Drunk young riot police in Jubilee Hills Telangana today

According to police, Constable Raju and Home Guard Shekhar, who were on duty in Salivahana Nagar, spotted three drunken youths fighting on the road causing inconvenience

Hyderabad: Two police constables were allegedly manhandled and assaulted by a group of intoxicated youths at Shalivahana Nagar in Jubilee Hills on Thursday evening.

According to the police, Constable Raju and Home Guard Shekhar, who were on duty at Salivahana Nagar, noticed three drunken youths fighting on the road causing inconvenience to the public.

When they were advised to vacate the place and go home, the youths became indignant and attacked the policemen.

The cops were pulled out of the patrol car and severely beaten. When the locals got there, the three young men ran away.

Based on the victim’s statement, the Jubilee Hills police have registered a case and are investigating.

The police arrested three youths, identified as Ashok and Mohan, both software employees, and Karthik, a DJ.
