New York man with 26 suspensions charged with DWI crashes in water

Police report that a 20-year-old resident of New York state, who was driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs, crashed a truck and an ATV into a reservoir. The accident happened early Thursday morning WNYT reports that deputies witnessed a man walking down the road in wet clothes.

What’s even more unbelievable is that officials say the same suspect already has 26 suspensions. Currently, the suspect has been charged with a number of charges, including unlicensed activity.

WNYT reports that a resident of the village of Evans Mills went off the road Thursday morning after crashing his Ford F-150 truck into a body of water. The accident occurred in the area of ​​highways 32 and 143 in the city of Koeymans, it is reported WNYT.

Albany County Sheriff’s Office says they noticed debris in the road, which led them to a damaged fence. Upon further inspection, deputies said they found a “fully submerged Ford F-150 as well as an ATV” in the Alcove Reservoir.

Coeymans Hollow Volunteer Fire Corp. helped pull the truck and ATV out of the water.

The law enforcement officers reported that when the suspect arrived, he had signs of alcohol intoxication. According to official words, the suspect was previously suspended on ten different dates.

The suspect was arrested, charged and is due back in court in late November.
