Ryan Milne Pleads Not Guilty to Attempted Murder – DiscoverMooseJaw.com

A man charged with three counts of attempted murder pleaded not guilty in Moose Joe Provincial Court this week.

Ryan Milne appeared by video from the Regina Correctional Center and his lawyer, Lucas Richards, appeared by phone.

Richards pleaded not guilty and decided to have Milne tried by a provincial court judge. Richards was also instructed by his client to waive his right to a preliminary hearing.

Provincial prosecutor Erin Little told the court that the trial will continue for three consecutive days. The court session is scheduled for April 28-30, 2025.

Milne was arrested on May 30 after the collision involving two pickup trucks at the intersection of Thatcher Drive and Highway 1.

It alleged that the driver of one vehicle deliberately drove into another vehicle at high speed before attacking the other driver with a baseball bat. There were three other people in the other car who suffered minor injuries.
