Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War has a post-credits issue

Bleach’s the third part of Millennium bloody war was one of the biggest returns of the fall anime season as Ichigo and the Soul Society continue their fight against Iwak and the Quincy Clan. With a few episodes under its belt, the third part of the anime series has hit the ground floor, giving anime fans incredible moments. Unfortunately, one of the biggest problems with Studio Pierrot’s latest project can be easily fixed. The post-credits scenes in Millennium Blood War have a serious problem, especially for those who don’t linger after the credits.

Post-credits scenes have been part of the anime world for some time now. These scenes usually give fans a clue as to what’s going on in whatever anime they’re watching. Shows how Demon Slayer, My Hero Academiaand many others include scenes that appear after the ending theme. Of course, post-credits scenes in the entertainment world have become the most prominent, perhaps thanks to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, in Bleach’s In this case, there’s a pretty big caveat about the post-credits scenes and why it puts viewers at a disadvantage if they miss them.

The problem with the scene after the credits

Bleach’s the ongoing post-credits scenes are absolutely necessary to find out what’s going on in the story and what’s going on. For example, in the last episode, we see how Yhwach does the unthinkable and absorbs the power of the King of Souls himself. Also, we get to see the Quincy leader’s terrifying new form, and if you happen to miss this scene, you’ll be pretty bummed if you skip right to the next episode, except Pierrot does the recap in the opening moments of the next installment.

For scenes like the Millennium Blood War, it would have been beneficial to place them before the opening credits and perhaps move the post-credits scenes to focus more on a short teaser of what’s to come. Capturing such important footage at a time when people might tune out creates a difficult situation for anime fans, leaving them potentially confused and frustrated. Ultimately, the complaint about the post-credits scene is minor, but it can cause serious headaches for those who might have missed key details.

A bloody war is raging

When it comes to the Blood War, every event needs to be watched to reflect the grand scale of what is happening in the world of Soul Society. In this latest installment, not only did the fight against Yhwach continue, but new partnerships were forged in the line of fire. With the risky move of freeing Aizen from his prison in the Soul Society while he was still trapped in the chair, the villain dealt a major hand to the Shinigami. On the other hand, several members of the Sternritter feel betrayed by Yhwach regaining his power, which means they are more than willing to fight against their former leader.

We’re not even halfway through the third part yet Bleach’s anime revival, but manga readers know they’re in for some big moments. Now that Yhwach has taken the ultimate power of the Soul King and added it to his own, defeating him will be a feat that will take everything Soul Society has.
