Homicide investigation after Saturday’s stabbing in Shawnee

SHAWNEE, OKLAHOMA. (KFOR) – A man was killed early Saturday morning in Shawnee.

The Shawnee Police Department posted on Facebook that the stabbing happened around 5 a.m. near 600 N. Hobson.

The victim was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The police have not yet announced whether there is a danger to the public or whether there is a suspect.

Police said they are investigating it as a homicide and asked anyone with information to call the Shawnee Police tip line at 405-273-0989.
