Murder suspect booked into Tulsa County jail after New York arrest

Blake McDonnell, arrested in New York for trying to escape after the Tulsa murder, is currently being held on $5 million bail.

TULSA, OKLAHOMA. –

A man arrested in New York while trying to leave the country after a murder in Tulsa is currently being held in the Tulsa County Jail.

Blake McDonell, the suspect in the fatal stabbing of his boyfriend earlier this month near East 4th and South Harvard Avenue, was arrested overnight.

According to Tulsa police, McDonnell was detained by authorities in New York as he tried to board a flight to Paris.

He is currently being held on $5 million bail.
