The Bettendorf Public Library, 2950 Learning Campus Drive, will host the first-ever Teen Environmental Summit on Saturday, November 9, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. This free event was created by the library’s Teen Leadership Committee, a group of teens who work with library staff to improve services and programs.

The Teen Environmental Summit will be attended by local experts from such organizations as
iLivehere (a program run by the Scott County Waste Commission), Scott Partners
County Watersheds and the Iowa Wildlife Federation. This event will also include trivia,
crafts in the library’s creative studio and a brainstorming session for teenagers from different schools/environmental clubs to share ideas on how they can help shape the environmental movement in ATV cities.

It’s a one-stop place for Quad Cities residents ages 12-18 to access volunteer opportunities, explore hobbies and learn about job options. For more information visit here or by calling 563-344-4175.
