The number of victims of the flood in Spain has reached 205 people, rescuers have not yet reached some areas of Valencia

Alfafar, Spain | Spanish rescuers opened a makeshift morgue at a convention center and scrambled to reach areas still cut off on Saturday (AEDT) as the death toll from catastrophic flooding rose to 205 in Europe’s worst weather disaster in five decades.

In Valencia, the eastern region that bore the brunt of the devastation, around 500 soldiers were deployed to hunt for people still missing and help survivors after the storm prompted a new weather warning for Huelva in southwestern Spain .
