OnePlus has finally launched its flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 13, in China. It is one of the first devices with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. In addition, the phone also packs a large 6,000mAh battery, which is a significant upgrade over its predecessor. Although the OnePlus 13 is currently only available in China, it is expected to hit the global market in the coming months. The phone is expected to launch in India in January 2025.

OnePlus 13 price

OnePlus 13 will be available in China in 4 variants. Starting with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. It will be presented in white, obsidian and blue colors. Let’s take a look at the pricing for the Chinese variant.

  • The 12GB+256GB variant is priced at RMB 4,499 (Rs. 53,100 approx).
  • The 12GB+512GB model is priced at RMB 4,899 (around Rs. 57,900).
  • The 16GB+512GB version is priced at CNY 5,299 (roughly Rs. 62,600).
  • The 24GB+1TB variant is priced at RMB 5,999 (roughly Rs. 70,900).

Features of OnePlus 13

The OnePlus 13 differs from its predecessors with a quad-curved design that gives it a flat look with subtle curves around the edges. This results in the phone being slightly shorter, but still packing a 6.82-inch display.

It boasts a BOE X2 OLED display, an 8T LTPO panel with 1440p resolution and a 1-120Hz refresh rate. Typical brightness is 800 nits, while peak brightness can reach 4500 nits. It also contains an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.

A standout feature is a new vibration motor designed for “game controller-level feedback” that’s the biggest ever in an Android device, according to the company. The OnePlus 13 also introduces a new IP69 rating, a feature that is gaining popularity among Chinese flagship devices. This rating exceeds IP68, providing additional protection against high-pressure water and steam cleaning.

On the back of the OnePlus 13, there are three Hasselblad-branded 50-megapixel cameras: a main camera with a Sony LYT-808 sensor and OIS, a 3x periscope lens (LYT-600) with a focal length equivalent of 73 mm and an equivalent of 15 mm. ultra-wide camera using the S5KJN5 sensor from Samsung, which also functions as a macro lens. In addition, the phone has a 32-megapixel front-facing camera.

It runs ColorOS 15 based on Android 15 for the Chinese market, while international versions are expected to have OxygenOS 15. The device is powered by a 6,000mAh silicon-carbon battery that supports 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging .
