A vehicle crashed into a home during a police chase, WMPD confirms

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – The West Memphis Police Department confirmed a vehicle crashed into a home in Memphis during a police chase.

According to WMPD, around 4:00 p.m., officers spotted a suspicious vehicle in the Memphis area; the car sped away when the inspectors tried to stop it.

During the car chase, the driver lost control and crashed into a house on Franka Avenue.

Action News 5 reached out to the West Memphis Police Department, which is working with Memphis officers to investigate the incident.

The Home Office has told us the suspect is in custody facing charges including failure to exercise due care.
