Investigation of reported crimes on hatred

Investigation was started after reports on “Racist Banking” on the Bridge through the Bridge M62.

On Sunday (February 16), the police received several reports that eight men stood on a bridge above M62, in Nestli, near a circular transition to Junction 5.

It was reported that a large group held banners, some of them allegedly racist. The officers attended the scene, but the men left.

Merceisida police are now turning to those who have been traveling this territory and may have Dashcam frames, or who saw what happened to contact them as you could help in requests for reports of hatred crime.

The Secretary of the Secretary said: “We turn to the information after the crime in the ground of hatred in a knowing yesterday, Sunday, February 16.

“Officers received many reports at about 12.30 that eight men stood on a bridge above the M62, near the circular transition to Junction 5, conducting banners, some of them allegedly racist.

“Officers visited the scene but the men went. If you passed this area at this time and received Dashcam footage, or you saw what happened please ahead of you because your information can help our continuing requests.”
