The Chargers’ bold trade prediction makes Jim Harbaugh an elite winner

The Chargers’ bold trade prediction makes Jim Harbaugh an elite winner

Most of the potential deals talked about for Los Angeles Chargers included the introduction of a wide receiver. While it is necessary for this team to continue to compete at a high level, it is not the only position of need.

The Chargers defense is one of the best in the league. The unit is allowing just over 193 yards per game. However, the defense needs some work on the defender. Vinny Ayer of The Sporting News has the perfect trade to fix that.

According to Iyer, the Chargers should make a move to bring New Orleans Saints’ Chase Young to Los Angeles: “Putting Young with Nick Bosa didn’t work for the 49ers, but how about putting Young in a situational passing role -rush behind Joey Bosa and Khalil Mack? Jesse Minter and Jim Garbo could get more from the No. 2 overall pick in 2020.”

Young, 25 years old became a free agent after this season and has two sacks and 15 pressures playing in 69 percent of the frames through eight games.

The move would make sense as Young likely wants to be with a team that can make the postseason. In just a few moves, this Chargers team could be a serious contender. Bringing in Young would mean the front office believes in this team.
