What problems did Njeri wa Yinga face?

In an exclusive interview with TUKO.co.keNjeri spoke about her career, challenges and lessons learned over the years.

Having started in the media industry at a young age, she had the advantage of learning from the best professionals.

However, her path was not without obstacles – the biggest test was caused by her colleagues, who, according to her, did not care about her interests.

“The biggest challenge I’ve faced in this industry is working with colleagues who don’t treat you well,” Njeri said. “At one point I was surrounded by colleagues who wanted my downfall. I joined the media when I was young so my potential was obvious and some people didn’t like me because they knew I could go far.”

When asked about the prevalence of sexual harassment in the media, Njeri explained that while such issues may exist, she has never personally experienced them.

“Nothing comes easy. It all depends on hard work, discipline, determination and trust in God. Our destiny is in our hands, and with destiny comes abilities.”
