Restaurant, owner of a grocery store accused of criminal intimidation, discharge of firearms

Kuala Nonang: The owner of a restaurant and a grocery store was accused of a magistrate with two points of criminal intimidation against five teenagers and the release of firearms in the forbidden area on January 27.

57 -year -old Jusuf Salle did not plead guilty and declared the court after both charges were read before the magistrate Nurul Huddha Idris.

For the first accusation, he is accused of threatening the death of five teenage boys, aged 15 to 16 years.

The crime allegedly happened at his restaurant and a grocery store in Campung Bagan, Jalan Nai-Maka, at about 11 am on January 27.

He was charged in accordance with Section 506 of the Criminal Code, which is a maximum sentence of seven years in prison, a fine or both of condemnation.

The second accusation provided for the release of a just premiere in the forbidden area at the same time and date.

He was charged under Section 39 of the 1960 Army Law, which was a maximum sentence for annual imprisonment, a fine not exceeding 2,000 RM, or both of condemnation.

Earlier, the deputy prosecutor Nasrun Anah Nordien asked the court to refuse the accused on bail.

However, the lawyers of Yusoff Murtazadadi Amran and Ivan Khririr sought bail on the basis of his client’s medical condition, referring to diabetes, hypertension and kidney disease.

The court provided a pledge of 8,000 RM with one bail and installed on March 4 for the next mention of the case.

In the incident on January 27, the defendant, who also works as a rubber real estate manager, allegedly shot four shots in the air to intimidate the five teenagers whom he suspected in the theft of 5000 RM in his store. – Bernama
