Aerial footage shows a huge plume of smoke as a fire engulfed a shopping mall in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

The fire covered 18,000 square meters and destroyed more than 200 shops, local media reported, citing fire brigade estimates.

According to local media, smoke rose to a height of more than 150 meters and part of the roof of the shopping center collapsed.

Firefighters managed to completely extinguish the fire 15 hours after it started.

According to the fire service, there were no casualties, the cause of the fire is still being investigated.
