Police have arrested three men as part of an organized crime investigation in South Dublin

Gardaí working in the Drug and Serious Crime Squad at Terenure and Sundrive Road stations have arrested three men as part of an ongoing investigation into organized crime in the South Dublin and East Regions.

The investigation concerns individuals suspected of involvement in drug trafficking, money laundering and drug-related intimidation as part of a criminal organization.

The three men (aged 60, 30 and 20) were arrested over the past five days and are currently being held in custody under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act 2007 at Garda stations in the Dublin Metropolitan Region (DMR).

Gardaí said investigations were ongoing.
