Police are investigating Pak’nSave’s claim of shoplifting against a former MP

Police are investigating a theft complaint at an Auckland supermarket against a former MP.

The incident is said to have happened in late 2024 at a Pak’nSave supermarket in the Auckland suburb of Royal Oak.

When presented with the allegations against the former MP, a police spokesman said: “Police can advise that a shoplifting complaint has been under investigation since late 2024.”

Police are not commenting for privacy reasons.
