While fighting for attention is a specialty of reality shows, prison is no different. Sean “Diddy” Combs, the rapper who once owned the music industry, is reportedly struggling with the extra attention that the CEO killer, Luigi Mangione receives from prisoners.
Behind the walls of the Brooklyn Detention Center (MDC), Diddy is on a rampage and throwing tantrums thanks to Internet darling Luigi Mangione. “Diddy has been throwing tantrums because Luigi is getting all the attention in prison and being hailed as a hero after literally killing someone on camera,” a source told the Daily Mail.
Combs, 54, and Mangione, 26, are awaiting trial in a detention center. Although they both have the same team of lawyers and air, they have yet to meet each other in the center, as Diddy remains in the population and Mangione is in solidarity.
The inmates seem to like Mangione, and he has no problem connecting with other inmates, as he has received support from them who have shared their stories of losing loved ones to inadequate medical care. “Even in prison, Diddy’s ego is bigger than life,” the source added.
Well, irony is part of life. The source added: “Not to mention that the prison itself faces ongoing allegations of inadequate medical care for its inmates.”
Sean “Diddy” Combs is allegedly accused of hosting non-consensual “Freak Off” parties that include racy videos and thousands of bottles of baby oil. He is charged with sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation for the purpose of prostitution.
Luigi Mangione faces 11 felony counts of first-degree murder and murder as an act of terrorism. He killed UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson.
