A missing Anaheim man’s car has been found in rural Mendocino County

Authorities in a Northern California county announced Tuesday that they have found the vehicle of an Orange County man who had been missing since June.

The The Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office reported an Anaheim manknown only as Kojo, was last seen on June 26. Deputies said Kojo planned to drive to Yosemite National Park and planned to return in three days.

No one has heard or seen Kojo since then. Attempts by relatives to call his phone went to voicemail.

On August 16, the California Highway Patrol found Kojo’s black 2009 Infiniti M35 sedan in rural Mendocino County, more than 200 miles from Yosemite. The vehicle was found along Highway 128 near the town of Navarro, a few miles east of the Paul Dimmick Campground.

Authorities conducted numerous searches for Kojoe in the area, but he was never found. The investigation of the case continues.

Kojo is described as a 59-year-old African-American man, about 5’9″ tall and about 170 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
