The Disney treasure is on its way to Florida, preparing for its maiden voyage

She will remain in Port Canaveral, near the Disney World Resort in Orlando, until May 2026 for non-stop 7-day voyages to the Western and Eastern Caribbean.

Western routes will include calls to Cozumel, Mexico; Georgetown, Grand Cayman; and Falmouth, Jamaica. Each route will also stop at Castaway Cay.

Important points before the first trip

This event followed Disney Treasures Launching ceremony on August 3, 2024, marking the first time the cruise ship entered the water. An hour later, the ship was joined by Captain Minnie Mouse, who decorates the bow.

After leaving Hall 6, the ship proceeded to a nearby dock to continue last minute construction work and prepare the ship to meet regulatory and Disney standards.

The event is timed to settle the village Disney Destinywhich together with Disney Adventureswill join the cruise line in November and December 2025, respectively.

Mayer Werft also recently received a completion order four additional ships for the fleet to debut between 2027 and 2031. The new ships will bring Disney Cruise Line’s fleet to 13.
