Husband killed his wife: a jealous husband killed his wife over a phone conversation with another man | Bhopal News

Bhopal: A man allegedly killed his wife as he did not like her talking to another man on the phone. The incident took place in Mauhar Chhitiya Mot village in Satna district. The deceased was identified as 35-year-old Sita, the wife Kamlesh Choudhary. The suspect was arrested after he confessed to the crime.
The police reported that in the morning of October 27, information was received that a dead woman was found in front of her own house. The deceased had injuries on her back and head, which indicates that someone could have killed her.
According to the information provided by her brother Mitlesh Charmakar, a case under relevant sections of BNS has been registered against an unknown person. According to local residents and the family of the deceased, Kamlesh was appointed as the deputy village secretary, while Sita worked as an anganwadi assistant. They had no children. Sita often argued with Kamlesh.
On the night of October 26, Kamlesh was at home. When Sita’s body was found the next morning, he had disappeared and switched off his mobile phone. His sudden disappearance made him the prime suspect.
On October 28, Kamlesh was found and questioned by the police. At first, he tried to mislead the police, but after further questioning, he admitted that on the evening of October 26, he suspected Sita of talking to another man on the phone. In a fit of rage, he hit her on the head with a bamboo stick, killing her on the spot. A blood-stained bamboo stick used in the crime was recovered from him, police said.
