“I’m afraid if I make it home in time”

Actress and Bigg Boss 12 celebrity Srishti Rode revealed that she had to be rushed to a hospital in Amsterdam after she fell seriously ill while on vacation. The actress talked about her painful ordeal on social media and wrote that at one point she was not sure if she would be able to return to India.

Srishty, who shares photos from her trip to Amsterdam on Instagram, wrote: “I wanted to share something real with you. Although I’ve been posting happy moments from my trip to Europe, there’s a part of the story that I haven’t shared. – something much more difficult. I got seriously ill with pneumonia while in Amsterdam and my oxygen levels suddenly dropped and I was in the hospital, struggling so much that if I even made it home.’

She went on to say: “My condition got so bad that my visa expired before I could leave. After a long struggle I am finally back in Mumbai but still recovering. Pneumonia takes time and my doctors say it could take months, but I’m still weak, but I’m hopeful and working to get better.”

“I want to thank everyone who reached out to me when I was away from social media. Your support means everything to me. I am very grateful for all of you and I will come back stronger soon,” she concluded.

Along with the note, she also shared a bunch of photos from the hospital showing her breathing on external oxygen support.

As soon as she posted the post, friends and fans of the actress sent their prayers and messages for a speedy recovery in the comments.

On the work front, Srishty has been a part of many television shows including Yeh Ishq Haaye, Choti Bahu 2, Punar Vivah, Ishqbaaz and others. Post Bigg Boss 12, she also had a brief stint on The Kapil Sharma Show.
