Officials in North Wildwood, New Jersey, have imposed a curfew on those 18 and under.

NORTH WILDWOOD, N.J. (WPVI) — New teenager a curfew is in place in North WildwoodNew Jersey.

The final vote on the ordinance was taken by city officials Tuesday morning.

This means that people under the age of 18 are not allowed to go outside between 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.

It also requires parents to be held accountable for allowing an unaccompanied minor to be outside.

Officials say the curfew comes after several violent incidents last summer along the coast.
