Two teenagers shot near Greenbriar Mall, investigation underway

ATLANTATwo teenagers were shot and killed outside the Greenbriar Mall Monday night.

The shooting happened around 9:50 p.m. along Greenbriar Parkway SW near Continental Colony Parkway SW. According to the Atlanta Police Department, officers found a 17-year-old boy with a gunshot wound to the right arm and a 16-year-old boy with a gunshot wound to the right hip.

Both teenagers were awake and talking to medics when they were transported to the district hospital.

The names of the teenagers have not been released.

It is not known if police are looking for the shooter or shooters.

The circumstances of the double shooting are under investigation by APD’s Aggravated Assault Unit.
