MILFORD, Delaware. A traffic stop in Milford last week led to the arrest of an 18-year-old and a 16-year-old.

Shortly before 9:30 p.m., a Milford Police Department officer stopped a vehicle in the area of ​​Routes 113 and 14. During the stop, the officer learned that the driver did not have a valid driver’s license and the 16-year-old passenger was found to be in possession of a loaded handgun. It is reported that during the inspection of the car, law enforcement officers found another gun.

The driver, identified as 18-year-old Zion Demby, was charged with possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, carrying a concealed deadly weapon and driving without a valid license. He was being held on $10,001 bond.

The 16-year-old was charged with two counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, possession, acquisition, possession or control of a deadly weapon by a person under the age of 18, possession, acquisition, possession or control of ammunition by a person under the age of 18 and two counts of carrying a concealed deadly weapon.
