Musi Rejuvenation Project Launch November 1: Revanth

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has reiterated his commitment to the Musi river revival project, saying he has no intention of backing down from the initiative.

The chief minister announced that the foundation stone for the Musi rejuvenation project would be laid on November 1 and work would begin in Bapugat. Tenders for the project will be announced by November.

Revanth Reddy also expressed willingness to participate in discussions with the opposition parties on the Musi rejuvenation project, adding that an all-party meeting would be convened soon. The government plans to develop a 21-km stretch starting from Bapugat.

The Chief Minister also referred to the ongoing investigations into wiretapping, Kaleswaram project and power procurement, assuring that no outside influence would affect the investigation process and action would be based on the reports of the investigating agencies.
