Man Arrested for Driving Golf Cart While Intoxicated: Avon Police Blotter

On September 16, at 8:45 p.m., a man was arrested for driving a “small motorized cart” while intoxicated. He was taken to the Lorain County Jail.

Escape, Interstate 90

Police attempted to stop the driver at 12:24 a.m. on Sept. 29, and the driver fled. Police called off the pursuit for public safety reasons, and no further information was available at press time.

Breaking and entering, Stoney Ridge Road

Police responded to a break-in at a vacant building at 6:41 p.m. on September 28. At the time of receipt of the report, there was no additional information.
