Allu Arjun has been remanded in custody in connection with the tragic stampede that took place during the Pushpa 2 promotional event in Hyderabad on December 4. As a result of the incident, a woman died and her son was seriously injured amid the chaos. On December 5, the police registered a case against Allu Arjun’s Sandhya Theater management and his security team. Authorities discovered that there was no advance notice of the film’s crew attending the premiere, leading to a stampede. Initially, three employees of the theater were arrested, including the owner, the senior manager and the person in charge of the lower balcony. In response to the tragedy, Allu Arjun announced a financial assistance of ₹25 lakh for the victim’s family. The actor also filed a petition to quash the FIR and sought a stay of all proceedings, including his arrest. Despite this, he was taken into custody by a team of Chikkadpally police station on December 13.
